Retiring of old bitcoin address for your Unocoin wallet

Thank you for being a long time customer for Unocoin and congrats on being an early adopter of bitcoin.

About 9 months ago on 6th August 2015, we had sent a message to you that we are generating a secured bitcoin address for your Unocoin wallet and we had advised you to avoid using the old bitcoin addresses for your Unocoin wallet that was starting with “1”. Now moving forward, we will be retiring those old addresses as per the advice from our then third party provider blockchain.info anytime after 15th of May 2016. They have also advised that if there are any payment to these addresses beyond this point, they will be sent back to the bitcoin address which sent those bitcoin.

Hence we are advising you to please stop using the old bitcoin address for your Unocoin immediately if you are still using them and advice/update the references which would still send bitcoin to your old address to have them send the bitcoin to your new bitcoin wallet address that starts from “3”.

We are delighted to have you as a customer for Unocoin and we will look forward to serving you with our best possible efforts.

– Team Unocoin
